Who We Are

The Workplace Initiative is a social impact program dedicated to expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities. We empower employers to build inclusive workplaces and to hire, retain, and advance individuals with disabilities.

Our Story

Since 2012, the Workplace Initiative has brought together employers, funders, service providers, and other key partners in the field of disability inclusion to create more inclusive workplaces while solving real business needs. We’ve worked with small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, supporting more than 30,000 people with disabilities to find meaningful careers. We are now building on that legacy to develop an end-to-end solution that will disrupt the field of disability inclusion, allowing companies of all sizes to implement disability inclusion at scale and leading to expanded employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Our Impact

Workplace Initiative supports large-scale, national expansion of meaningful career opportunities for people with disabilities--the largest untapped source of talent in the country. We enhance the employment readiness of people with disabilities, help companies build inclusive workplaces and to hire and retain people with disabilities, and connect job seekers to fulfilling employment. Through our partnerships with multiple stakeholders, we continue to support ongoing growth in the field of disability inclusion.

Our Team

We are a diverse group that brings a range of backgrounds and expertise to a shared vision of creating inclusive workplaces and meaningful career opportunities for people with disabilities on a national scale.

Our Partners
