Who We Are

The Workplace Initiative team at the Poses Family Foundation is led by experts in disability employment and inclusion. We strive to close the employment gap for people with disabilities through providing funding and advising support to nonprofits that are enabling companies to amplify disability as a critical component of diversity.

Workplace Initiative Funder Collaborative

In 2013, four national funders (Poses Family Foundation, Kessler Foundation, The May & Stanley Smith Charitable Trust and Autism Speaks/New York Collaborates for Autism) came together to form the first-of-its-kind funder collaborative to seed, accelerate and support disability inclusion initiatives of major employers across the United States. The funder collaborative helps companies overcome obstacles to implementing large-scale disability inclusion programs. To do so, the collaborative provides technical assistance through some of the nation’s leading inclusion experts and financial support to nonprofit organizations.

Since 2013, the collaborative has grown to nine members. The Disability Employment and Inclusion Funder Collaborative is proud to support the DIY Guide and the Workplace Initiative website.
